OnePlus Nord N20 5G Review: Cheap, Powerful, and an AMOLED Screen

These two bad aspects? OnePlus has decided to abandon a faster refresh rate, which will make interacting with the screen smoother. But I’d take a traditional 60-Hz screen with AMOLED anytime on top of a 90-Hz LCD, so I don’t really see that as a problem. What? Is Annoying is the way the screen is not bright; When you are out on a sunny day, you need to squint.

You’ll find several accounts, such as a decent loud down-firing speaker, a reliable in-display fingerprint sensor and even a microSD card slot to expand 128 gig of storage. The phone is also IP52-rated, so it should be good in the rain, but probably not a drop will survive in a pool. You even get a headphone jack!

There is nothing to write home about battery life. The 4,500-mAh cell usually lasts all day for me but not more. If it dies early in the day, that’s where the fast 33-watt wired charging comes in (if you use the cable and adapter included in the OnePlus). This speeds up the Nord N20 5G by 15 to 70 percent, which is what you might call a supercalciphragistic expiidosus. (Okay, it took 30 minutes, which is still crazy fast.)

Passable camera

It helps that the plastic body of this phone does not do that To feel Plastic like other cheap phones. The flat edges make it easy to grasp and it looks tightly built. However, the rear cameras have expanded so much that after dropping less than 2-inches (I was trying to take a picture of the soil from under my puppy), I can already see some minor scratches on and around the lens. The edge of the phone. Make a suit if you can find one!

In fact, there’s a 64-megapixel main camera, a macro camera and a monochrome sensor – the latter lets you take real black and white photos. And to snap macro super-detailed close-ups. I’m not too much of a macro person, so I didn’t find much use of it to save some dandelion on the ground.

The main camera is. All right. You can get some detailed images when there is plenty of light, although the colors can sometimes feel incomplete and it can fight the high-contrast scene. In low light, Dedicated Night mode tries to add more sharpness and color, but your photos will still be blurry or straight-up depending on how fast you can move your hand by pressing the shutter button. It lacks the Pixel 5A’s sharpness and natural color, but you can take some passable pictures on the Nord N20 5G Enough.

I was basically impressed by the Nord N20 5G. It’s not To feel Unlike the OnePlus phone নেই there is no mute switch, the design is completely different, and even the camera’s night mode is not called “nightscape” like other OnePlus phones. Still, it’s so cheap and incredibly satisfying to use a phone Never Need to deal with annoying stutters. It’s just a shame that it won’t get any OS update after Android 12.
