Multi-chain supported v1.0 of Hyperledger FireFly is now generally available » CryptoNinjas

Today, the HyperLaser community announced that version 1.0 of HyperLaser Firefly is now available. Hyperlaser Firefly 1.0 combines several technological and market milestones.

At its core, it offers a compact Web3 stack to accelerate decentralized application (dApp) development by a 10x-100x factor, creating the first open-source (GitHub) supernode for initiatives to build and scale secure web3 applications.

It is already in production with a number of leading blockchain consortiums, including Riskstream Collaborative in the insurance industry, Synaptic Health Alliance in healthcare and Tradego in commodity trade finance.

A compact web 3 stack to support decentralized apps

In the last decade of enterprise blockchain projects, architects and developers have realized that their projects need far more than blockchain nodes to succeed. Early custom-built blockchain engagements were often multi-million dollar, multi-year projects that fought to go into production.

As the T 3T market for Web3 has been implemented around areas such as Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Non-Functional Tokens (NFTs) and Metaverse, companies are looking to embrace the potential of these disruptive technologies and new business opportunities. Writing decentralized applications, however, requires composable Web3 and a large set of traditional IT technologies that interact with each other as enterprise building blocks that anyone can use.

Hyperlaser Firefly Supernode provides this new type of decentralized orchestration layer between the company’s existing system and Web3. This enables changes to open network systems and reduces reliance on proprietary technology or custom-built code. It solves levels of complexity between low-level blockchain and high-level business processes and user interfaces, allowing developers to focus on building business logic rather than infrastructure.

By simply connecting to Web3, enabling companies to avoid “redesigning the wheel”, Hyperledger enhances FireFly developer efficiency and fills previously missing functionalities to help companies create secure and monitored connections to Web3’s open ecosystem.

The best of public and private blockchain technology

Companies can quickly bootstrap projects in FireFly by tapping into Web 3 innovations such as smart contracts and NFTs without having to build everything from scratch, as well as satisfying enterprise requirements for common APIs, reliable delivery and strong connections. FireFly helps make these applications ‘future-proof’ by creating a blockchain-neutral platform.

Hyperlaser Firefly has built-in integration and support for popular communities such as Etherium (Quorum, Hyperlaser Besu, Geth, Public Mainnet), Hyperlaser Fabric, and Corda and standard digital resources such as ERC20, ERC721 and ERC 1155. Code Base consists of more than 200,000 lines of enterprise-ready code and is extensible and plug-in for standard-led approaches such as Token Bridge, Polygon L2 and Baseline Protocol.

“… FireFly has come a long way in a very short time. We’re excited about how fast we’ve been able to grow projects and communities and how fast enterprise and consortia are embracing technology. We want to invite you to be part of our community. “
